Carrie Reichartz retired as a Rising Star lawyer after a trip to Kenya changed her life. She has gone on to found and direct several nonprofit ministries and help 100’s start their nonprofit ministries. As a Chuck Coleson Fellow and Perspectives graduate, Carrie believes God has a "world-sized" role for every Christian in His global purpose, a vision to discover and live a life on purpose. Carrie ignites others to launch those purposes out into the world in a solid, profitable way in ministry and life. Carrie’s heart is as founder and active director of Mercy’s Light Family - a maternity home and emotional trauma center - in Mombasa, Kenya which is run through Operation Give Hope (a nonprofit she founded and is on the board of). Through Mercy’s Light, lives are being saved daily from s*x trafficking and other s*xual and emotional trauma. In addition to her funding and administrative roles, Carrie is key in leadership of an amazing staff of seven in Kenya managing the project as she funds the project from the US. Through her 13-year nonprofit ministry journey, Carrie has served in churches, government offices, international stages in North America and Africa. She has hands-on experience in the nonprofit world from funding to social media to management and everything in between. She has well earned wisdom that doesn’t come from books. She serves as a powerful advocate and ally for those starting and growing a nonprofit in wisdom, leadership, and encouragement. Through the Christian Rocketeers Movement Carrie shares her funding, legal, writing, speaking, and hands-on wisdom with others starting their journey so they can rocket to the top faster. Coming alongside motivated people to quickly establish nonprofits in 8-weeks or less to pursue the passion, to make a difference, and most importantly live out the life God has called them to.
