🎳 We struck up a little fun at the City's Brews and Boos this weekend!

EFNB Board Member Danielle was on hand to share the scoop on our upcoming Pins for Playgrounds event, complete with a bowling game, a bowling pin costume, and treats for all the little Smarties and Dum Dums! 🍬

Join us Sunday, November 15, from 10 AM–2 PM at New Berlin Ale House to raise funds to replace one playground at each of our four elementary schools by summer 2030.

Thank you, Waukesha State Bank, for your $50,000 commitment to our elementary playground initiative!

This investment supports our goal of replacing at least one playground at each of our four elementary schools by 2030. Waukesha State Bank will also serve as the presenting sponsor of Pins for Playgrounds for the next five years and receive naming rights for the future playground at Orchard Lane Elementary.

We’re grateful to have Waukesha State Bank partnering with the Education Foundation of New Berlin, the School District of New Berlin, and our elementary parent organizations to make these playground upgrades possible.

On World Mental Health Day, we remember why this work matters.

The Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund helps ensure that an SDNB student who needs mental health support isn't prevented from receiving care because of financial circumstances.

Since its creation, the fund has helped provide access to care for students while also building a lasting resource for future needs.

Thank you to the Lietke family and to everyone who has supported Drew's legacy by investing in the well-being of students in our community. 💙

Mental health support is part of helping students succeed — in school and in life.

Third-party mental health providers are available in all six SDNB schools, with some providers in buildings multiple days each week based on student need.

The Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund helps make sure financial barriers don't prevent a student from accessing care when additional support is needed.

Today is World Mental Health Day. 💙
In partnership with the School District of New Berlin, thousands of dollars are spent each year to support student mental health services — helping make sure students can access care when they need it.

The Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund is one part of that effort, providing an additional resource when financial barriers could otherwise stand in the way of care.

Established in memory of Drew Lietke, the fund is a lasting investment in the mental health and well-being of SDNB students.

💙 Rivals on the Field, United in Support

Even with a cross-town rivalry on the football field, students and community members came together for an important cause.

As an early recognition of World Mental Health Day, Change of Mind Club (New Berlin Eisenhower) and DECA students (New Berlin West & Eisenhower) teamed up for a Miracle Minute at last Friday’s Ike/West football game to support the Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund. Together, they raised $846.81 to help support student mental health in the School District of New Berlin.

Thank you to these student organizations and everyone who contributed. It’s a great reminder that supporting student well-being is something we can all rally around.
