The Collective NB new theatre. new art. new bedford. Our mission is to provide exciting, affordable and accessible theatrical performances to our community.

We bring exciting multi-genre performances to our community by collaborating with local artists, thespians and musicians to provide a unique experience for our audience. In addition to full theatrical productions, we host intimate nights of art and performance, as well as ten minute play festivals and conceptual theatrical events.

At The Collective we are often a family first and a theater company second. We recently lost one of our family members, one of our best and most enthusiastic supporters. We would like to honor the life of Bob Gregory by dedicating this production of Making God Laugh to him.

Bob was an avid supporter of The Collective from the very beginning, attending countless performances, supplying innumerable concessions, and lending various props and costumes. He and Judy were instrumental in helping us to secure a new home at St. Andrew’s. He was a father to us all, caring for his daughter’s friends as if they were his own. He will be greatly missed and we will always remember him with great love. We know that he is assuredly up there at this very moment “Making God laugh.” Thank you Gregory family for being our surrogate family whenever we needed one.
