SUNDAY UPDATE: Due to the likelihood of rain, and for the health and safety of participants and attendees, the organizers have decided to cancel Monday's Memorial Day Parade. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at 12 p.m. Monday at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Clasky Common Park. There are no longer parking restrictions along Parker Street Sunday night and Monday. SUNDAY UPDATE: The New Bedford Port Society has moved Monday's annual Fishermen's Memorial Day Service from Pier 3 to the Seamen's Bethel. The service will begin at 10 a.m. There will be no 9:30 a.m. procession.

As a reminder: City Hall and all City offices will be closed Monday. There will be no trash pickup on Monday and a one-day delay for most of the City for the remainder of the week.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to have our Executive Director, Michael Nash, speak with FUN 107 to help spread awareness about our organization and the ways our team supports veterans in our community through resources, advocacy, connection, and ongoing support.
