Paws, Awes & Claws Paws, Awes & Claws (PAC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is focused on rescuing animals in need.

The rescue is currently foster-based.

Hi it’s me Hightop here and I am still looking for my forever home!

I don’t understand why everyone else is getting adopted and not me 🥺

I love everyone I meet! I know I can be a sassy puppy but I am fun playful and love to be around my people 😍 I am even doing good on this thing my foster mom calls potty training and I even sleep in my crate at night like a good boy! I love being outside and going for walks and we can’t forget sunbathing 🌞 So if you are looking for a little spice in your life and a partner in crime. Pick me cause I am down for all the fun!!!

Ocarina wants to be a free elf!!!

Someone give her a sock! Ok, we really want a home for her but you get the idea lol!

Ocarina is about 3 months old, a Chihuahua Dachshund mix we (breeds are guesses based on looks/veterinary opinion). And while I cannot confirm her Hogwarts affiliation, I can confirm that the ears are very suspicious.

This little girl is sweet, snuggly and just a tiny bit ridiculous. She LOVES being wrapped up in a cozy blanket, but the second she gets outside she suddenly has places to be and leaves to chase and sticks to chew. Priorities.🍃

She is gentle, submissive and fantastic with kids, dogs and cats. She’s working hard on her crate and potty training and is catching on quickly, although she is still very much a baby and will need a family ready for puppy training, patience and the occasional “what exactly are you doing?” moment.

We also discovered that Ocarina has absolutely no objections to dressing up, so naturally we had to test the Dobby theory. (more pics in the comments).

The results were concerningly accurate.

Now this little house elf is looking for her forever family. 🤎🧦

Chino just isn't having the best luck :(

He came back to the rescue last fall and found his new family right before Christmas, but this spring his mom lost her job and her ability to provide stable housing for him. Back to the rescue he came.

He is an incredibly sweet 3-year-old, neutered male! Likes all humans and is completely fine with cats or dogs, he is a laid-back guy and isn't fussed by much. He can go to a home with other cats/dogs or by himself! He would love the opportunity to be someone's lap kitty!

Meet Vernors!

He’s one handsome fella who is ready to become friends with the whole world!

He is approximately 7 months and is a Great Dane/Border Collie mix. He is a sleek and tall puppy!

Vernors would do well with another confident dog in the household to show him the ropes!

He is doing fantastic with going potty outside (no accidents thus far in his foster home), sleeps in a crate (does best with another dog crated near him), sleeps through the night, LOVES other dogs and kids (foster home has toddlers and teenagers), could be friends with a cat who is open to a friendship with a dog (cats in foster home accept dogs but are not besties with the dogs, Vernors is curious to what they are but no aggression), loves to play hard and sleep hard!

In his foster home, he has been introduced to a variety of toys and has started to gain interest, especially with peanut butter topped toys!

He is working on basic obedience skills and enjoys the one-on-one training attention.

Vernors has quickly become his foster home favorite ❤️ He’s a happy boy with sunshine to share ☀️

Remember, all breeds are based on the information we receive when we get the dogs, based on parents looks, or veterinary opinion as we do not DNA test all of our rescues.

THANK YOU!

After weeks of working on finding donations and posting for donations and all the chaos, we are officially done with this years Rocket Community Challenge and we’re finishing off the year in THIRD place 🥉 🎉

We think this is amazing being up against some much larger nonprofit groups 🩷

This placing means that we win an additional $7,500 for the animals!!

With your help, we also won week #1 (by having the most individual donors) for $1,000 and placed 5th in week #3 for $3,300 🥰 additionally, we also won 2 golden tickets at $250 each!

So all together, we RAISED a total of $37,206 and WON a total of $12,300 🥹 for a grand total of $49,506 for the animals!!!! 🥰

Seriously, from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU to each and every person who shared, donated, and matched donations throughout the month! 🩷 we couldn’t do this without you!
