➡️ 9 firefighters: 0700–1400
➡️ 10 firefighters: 1400–1800
➡️ 11 firefighters: 1800–2200
➡️ 12 firefighters: 2200–0600

📢 Board Meeting Results
✅ Hiring 6 full-time firefighters
✅ Hiring 1 full-time training officer
➡️ All of this was done within the fire budget.

Thank you to the board members for being engaged and recognizing our issues, and we look forward to working with you to make this department the best possible.

This is a great step forward. That adds 2 extra full-time firefighters per shift, bringing us up to 12 per day—if no one is off. As our community continues to grow, we’ll keep pushing for the NFPA standard of at least 15-17 full-time firefighters on shift every day to keep residents safe. 🚒

Setting new records in 2023! New Baltimore Fire proudly responded to 1257 calls for service, marking the highest in our history. From medical assistance to vehicle collisions, mutual aid, and structure fires. We are thankful for our New Baltimore community! Here’s to enhancing our service in 2024! 🚒📈

On Saturday, October 7th at 8:56 PM, the New Baltimore Fire Department responded to a structure fire. Our crews, joined by the Chesterfield Township, Lenox Township, and New Haven Fire Departments, worked together seamlessly. Within minutes, the fully involved single-story home was under control, and by 9:30 PM, the fire was extinguished.

Thank you to our neighboring cities for their prompt response and to Medstar Ambulance for their valuable support ensuring an appropriate response for the safety of our city.
