4 years ago, today we started the Pi Alpha Chapter of Delta Theta Tau here in New Athens and what a ride it has been!! We have been so blessed to be supported by our amazing community and the wonderful women who have join our organization over the years. Today we celebrate our charter members for taking that first step and we thank the Xi Phi Chapter of Delta Theta Tau of Marissa for sponsoring us. Congratulations to our two recipients of the Pi Alpha chapter of Delta Theta Tau $1,000 scholarship.
This scholarship is made possible through the fundraising efforts of the sisters of Pi Alpha and is awarded to a female senior from New Athens High School who applies with an essay about philanthropy and letters of recommendation. This year we were excited to be able to award two scholarships to these deserving graduates.
