New Athens VFW Post 7710 led the Homecoming parade on Saturday, sponsored a Homecoming Queen candidate and pulled her float, and contributed to sponsoring the Shriners. Thanks to our Auxiliary for walking along side the float to pass out flags and beads. Finally, we, conducted a 50/50 at the Fairgrounds after the parade, raising funds to support our Veterans programs. It was a busy day supporting our community - thanks to all Comrades and Auxiliary members who participated!
