Every Friday of the school year we provide a backpack of food to all Pre-K through 8th grade at New Albany Floyd County Schools who are on free or reduced lunch programs so they don't go hungry on the weekend.

We are awed and honored by the generosity of the Floyd County Legacy Foundation and their grant of $35,000 to Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County. They recognize that feeding kids today not only helps support those kids’ health and education today, but also is an investment in the future of our community.
