What a wonderful article from SoInformed Community News highlighting our work! Many thanks to Lindsey and SoInformed Community News for taking the time to visit the farmstand and chat with us! We really love what we are able to do for our community!

Before Let Us Learn’s (L*L) twice-monthly Pay-As-You-Can Farmstand officially opens, the line already wraps through the New Albany High School parking lot.

When we started Let Us Learn 10 years ago, we never imagined we'd be at a point where we could offer three different ways for our community to access fresh, healthy food in a single weekend.

Whether you're a CSA member, stopping by Veggie Rescue, or visiting the Farmstand, we're grateful to be part of a community that believes everyone deserves access to healthy food.

And none of it would be possible without our farmers, volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who help make this work possible.

Here's to a weekend full of fresh food, community, and connection. 💚

🌱 It's CSA Week at Let Us Learn! 🌱

Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares are packed with fresh, locally grown produce from area farmers and gardeners. Every share helps support local food growers while increasing access to healthy food in our community.

Want to participate?
💚 Become a monthly donor at $50 or more and receive two CSA shares each month during the growing season (May to September)

🌻 Sponsor a share for a neighbor $25 each when we have extras

Together, we're building a healthier, more connected local food system—one harvest at a time.

We've been making a splash lately!

As we get closer to 3,000 followers—only seven to go! We wanted to take a moment to share who we are and why we do this work.

Thank you for supporting Let Us Learn and helping us grow a healthier, more connected community.

🌱 Hey, hey! Veggie Rescue is TODAY! 🌱

Join us every Saturday through September for fresh produce and community connection.

It looks like the much-needed rain is going to hold off until tomorrow, so come on out and meet our team! We'll have fresh produce available and, thanks to our local farm partners, we'll have eggs again this week. AND our Summer interns, Mary and Jazhira harvested a fridge full of greens! Lots of produce this week!

Last week nearly all of the eggs (nearly 60 doz) were claimed, so if you'd like a dozen, we encourage you to come early!

📣 A quick heads up: We will NOT have eggs at Veggie Rescue next week (June 13). We'll be saving them for our Pay-As-You-Can Farmstand on Sunday, June 14. But don't worry—double bonus of veggies next week as gardens and farms continue to ramp up for the season!

As always, Veggie Rescue is first come, first served, and everyone is welcome. We never know exactly what our farmers and gardeners will donate, but we're grateful for every local, delicious, and healthy veggie that helps feed our community.

Love our friends over at Feed Louisville, doing great work right across the river!

“No one understands the urgency of hunger like people who love to feed people.” — Rhona Bowles Kamar.

What began as a conversation during the earliest days of the pandemic has grown into a citywide effort rooted in food recovery, hunger relief, and community solidarity. In this Sophisticated Living article, we learn a bit about the things that make our founder and executive director who she is.

Thank you to Sophisticated Living Magazine and Simply PR KY for spotlighting our founder!
