This is absolutely heartbreaking. I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan’s mother before this accident, and knowing she is facing something no mother ever should is truly unfathomable.
As a member of the construction family who has gone to the Capitol to fight for roadway worker safety, this hits even closer to home.
The person responsible didn’t even stop. They hit him and left. I will never understand how someone could do that.
Tomorrow his family will lay him to rest. Please pray for them. Pray for his friends, his coworkers, and everyone whose lives were touched by this young man.
PLEASE remember to pay attention when you are driving — even if it’s NOT in a work zone. People’s lives depend on it. 💛
