Great group of kids made for a great day at Safety training today!

Looking forward to this new year with both new and experienced members!

We passed around a mouse trap to practice how to safely hand off a fire-arm, watched videos about the amount of damage ammo can cause, lots of training on Safety, learned more about each discipline, and shared with the group what they learned today while again practicing safe handling of a fire-arm.
Well done kids and parents! We are proud of you! Thank you for braving the cold 😉 and learning all about safety!!!

We are super excited to announce, that the next certification class for shooting sports instructors. Will be at Camp Galilee in El Dorado Springs! Literally next door, you can sleep in our own bed every night. We do offer assistance with funding for the class.

If you are or know someone who is interested in becoming an instructor? Please get in contact with any one of use instructor or the extension office staff. We are in need of coaches in all our disciplines, rifle, shotgun, archery, muzzleloading, hunting and outdoors skills and pistols.
