We had a very busy weekend. Friday night we headed to the truck pulls and served popcorn. Sat morning we were bummed to find out the parade was canceled but understood the reasoning. Then Sat evening we headed down to the Nevada Community Rodeo to serve popcorn again. We had a balloon artist and face painter join us ( post to follow ). We then made our way back down for slack with the Nevada Community Rodeo Sunday morning and served breakfast for the contestants. We had a great turn out for these events and a good time.

We presented a check to the American Legion from our Stars and Stripes Through Nevada program.

Lincoln Highway Days will you postpone the parade if keeps raining? Decorating floats will not work well in the rain.

Don't forget to get your peach orders in. They should be arriving July 24th. Also anyone who is interested in helping the community and what us Lions do contact us or come to one of our meetings. We meet 2nd Wednesday and 4th Sunday of every month at the Nevada Legion at 6:00.
