COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

If there's something that needs to be done for the rodeo, Mark Rhodes is usually already there ready to jump in and help! From the weeks leading up to the rodeo, to the night of the big show, and even after the dust settles, Mark is always willing to lend a hand and get things done.

Lynn and Hattie are no strangers to the rodeo either! These two are always busy helping during the rodeo, making sure things keep moving and everything runs smoothly.

We appreciate Mark, Lynne, and Hattie for all the time, hard work, and support they give to the Nevada Community Rodeo! We're lucky to have the whole Rhodes family on our crew! 🤠

This husband-and-wife duo are another big part of making rodeo day happen!

Angie is our ticket sales lead on rodeo day, keeping things moving at the ticket booth and making sure everyone gets through the gates and into the action! šŸŽŸļøšŸ¤

Andy is always there to lend a hand whenever he can, helping out leading up to the rodeo and jumping in wherever he's needed during the big night.

Between ticket sales, setup, and everything in between, we're thankful to have both Angie and Andy on our crew! We appreciate all the time and help they put in to make the Nevada Community Rodeo happen year after year! šŸ‘

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

Jerome is one of those guys who is always around the week leading up to the rodeo, ready to help with anything and everything that needs to be done. From setup to hauling, moving, fixing, or whatever else gets thrown his way, he’s always willing to jump in and help get it done!

I know some of the photos we’ve posted from around the rodeo have Jerome standing around, but I can assure you, we do put him to work! šŸ˜‚ We just apparently have a knack for catching him during his breaks.

On rodeo night, Jerome and his wife Erin take over the VIP section, helping keep things running smoothly.

We appreciate all the time and hard work Jerome puts in, and we’re thankful to have both Jerome & Erin as part of our rodeo crew! 🤠

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

Father and son duo Cam & Jason are always ready to put their equipment to work for the rodeo! From leveling grounds and putting up fencing to tackling whatever else needs to be done, these two are always there to help get the job done. 🤠

They are the kind of people you can count on when something needs done, and we are so thankful they’re willing to jump in and help year after year.

We appreciate all the time, equipment, and hard work they put into the Nevada Community Rodeo! Thank you, Cam & Jason! šŸ‘

They may be new to the crew this year, but Mike & Patsy didn’t exactly ease into it… they grabbed the reins and jumped right in!

Mike was there helping with setup leading up to the rodeo and basically doing whatever needed to be done. Patsy jumped in behind the scenes helping with banners, signs, and all the little details that somehow magically need to happen before the gates open.

They may be rookies to the committee, but they definitely didn’t act like it! We’re so glad they joined the crew and appreciate all the time, help, and hard work they put in this year.

Welcome to the rodeo family, Mike & Patsy! We’re happy to have you along for the ride! šŸ¤ šŸ‘

Jeremy is one of those people you can pretty much count on to be there whenever something needs to get done. Setup the week before? He’s there. Need an extra set of hands? He’s there. Something electrical needs figured out? Definitely call Jeremy.

He brings his electric expertise to the rodeo, helps with setup, and is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. When rodeo night rolls around, Jeremy is right there helping make sure things keep moving and everything runs smoothly.

We appreciate all the time, hard work, and willingness to help that he brings to the committee. We’re lucky to have him! Thanks for being part of the Nevada Community Rodeo, Jeremy! 🤠

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

Terence, better known around here as ā€œBig Bidness,ā€ is our resident rodeo clown, occasional Spiderman šŸ•·ļø, setup/teardown guy, and apparently the person responsible for saying ā€œsureā€ before finding out what the job actually is. šŸ˜‚

And of course, he doesn’t do it alone! Vanna and the kids are always right there helping out too. Whether it’s getting things ready, helping during the rodeo, cleaning things up afterward, or just jumping in wherever they’re needed, the whole Beaston crew puts in the work.

We’re pretty sure Marc has a running list of increasingly random things to ask Terence to do… and Terence keeps showing up, so really, this is partly his own fault.

We’re thankful for the entire Beaston family and all the time, work and willingness they bring to the rodeo. It takes a whole crew to make this thing happen, and we’re lucky to have this one! Thanks, Beastons! šŸ¤ šŸ‘

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

Mark Handsaker is always willing to jump in and help, whether it’s during setup, throughout rodeo night, or making sure the arena is ready to go. As our official (and very trusted) tractor operator, Mark plays a big part in keeping the arena in shape and ready for the action.

He’s one of those guys who just shows up, gets to work, and helps wherever he’s needed and we’re lucky to have him on the committee!

Thanks for everything you do for the Nevada Community Rodeo, Mark! We appreciate you! šŸ¤ šŸ‘

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

You know all those dollars, receipts, ticket sales, and other money stuff that magically seems to work out every year? Yeah… that doesn’t happen by itself. šŸ˜‰ That’s where Al Kockler comes in!

Al takes care of the financial side of the rodeo and keeps everything organized behind the scenes. He handles the books, keeps track of what’s coming in and going out, helps get the ticket money organized, and makes sure everything ends up where it’s supposed to.

A lot of his work happens behind the scenes, but it’s a BIG part of what keeps this whole rodeo running year after year.

Thanks, Al, for keeping the numbers straight and the rest of us on track! We appreciate all you do for the Nevada Community Rodeo! šŸ¤ šŸ‘

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Marc & Amber Olson and their kids!

Marc keeps things rolling with the phone calls (shocking, we know šŸ˜‰šŸ“ž), keeping track of the timeline, making sure everyone knows where they need to be, and making sure all the pieces are falling into place before the gates even open. From promotional videos to whatever crazy idea we come up with next, Marc is usually the one making it happen.

Amber is busy making sure all the details are covered from ordering and planning to coordinating volunteers and everything in between. If it needs to be organized, ordered, scheduled, or figured out, chances are Amber has had a hand in it!

And we can’t forget their kids! They’re always ready to jump in and lend a hand wherever they’re needed. Having the whole family pitch in is just another example of what makes our rodeo committee so special. 🤠

Thank you, Olson Family, for all that you do!
