One week ago today, we announced that we'd finally come to an agreement with Palisades Tahoe. It is a 40% reduction in rooms, a 20% reduction in commercial space, and permanent protection of Shirley Canyon as open space. We are extremely proud of that agreement, and it adds to our over 2 decades of success in conservation. Thank you for being with us for this, and ONWARD. There is still a lot to do.

Sierra watch has been putting in the work for over a decade on this disaster proposal at Palisades Tahoe. On Tuesday, the supervisors made the expected but disappointing call to unanimously approve the project.
