**ATTENTION**

Monroe County is under a burn ban until 10/5/26. This means no outdoor burning of ANY KIND.

Conditions will be evaluated on 10/5 to determine if an extension is warranted.

Anyone who knowingly and willfully violates a burning ban is guilty of a misdemeanor. These persons may receive a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $500.

We have been asked by several of the community citizens on why wasn’t the fire department assisting on club land in nettleton . The answer is the fd was never notified by dispatch to assist in anyway.
