Jacob with Pvt John Allen Tupelo Hatchery did a great job with the kids. They enjoyed looking at the different fish and asking questions.

All ages are invited to come by the library tomorrow morning, 10am - Noon to see what type of fish the Tupelo Fish Hatchery will be showing in their mobile aquarium. There will also be a few fish to go with the 2026 Children's Summer Program, 'Unearth a Story", all about dinosaurs. 🐢🦖🐟🐠🐡

Nettleton Main Street Awarded $10,000 America 250 Grant! 🇺🇸

We’re excited to announce that Nettleton Main Street has been awarded a $10,000 America 250 grant through the Mississippi Humanities Council to support our upcoming Town Creek Festival & Archaeological Expo, happening Saturday, October 10, 2026.

With these grant funds, we’ll be able to showcase the rich history of America while continuing all the favorite Town Creek Festival activities our community enjoys.

Most activities will take place at the Dorothy J Lowe Memorial Library - Nettleton, MS, with certain events spread across additional locations throughout town to give visitors a full, immersive experience.
