NOTICE: ORGANIZED SEARCH EFFORT FOR MISSING PERSON Mary Catherine Green:

In an effort to enhance collaborative efforts to locate Mary Catherine Green of Richwood, a comprehensive search operation is being organized to cover the surrounding area as extensively as possible.

Volunteers with access to ATVs, side-by-side vehicles, or other off-road equipment are requested to participate on Sunday, June 21st, 2026.

Participants are asked to assemble at the Richwood Fire Department by 8:00 a.m.

The search will entail a thorough examination of spur roads, trails, logging roads, and other areas, with the scope of the search determined by the number of participants.

Teams will be formed based on turnout to search designated areas.

We request that participants bring essential items that could be helpful, including binoculars, FRS radios for communication (set to Channel 8 ), cellular boosters, and satellite internet access points.

Appropriate attire is recommended, as the search is anticipated to last throughout the day.

Participants are also encouraged to bring extra fuel, food, and personal refreshments. A zero-tolerance policy for alcohol will be strictly enforced, as this is a professionally led search operation.

While some areas may be accessible by vehicle, participants may be required to proceed on foot in certain locations.

Individuals with personal drones are welcome but are required to notify the coordinators ahead of time and adhere to all applicable FAA regulations as to not interfere with existing drone and aircraft operation.

We appreciate your assistance in this effort and request that those planning to attend monitor this post for updates, as the search may be subject to cancellation based on changing circumstances.
