Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service. With those aims in mind, Pack 131 believes strongly in "learnin

g by doing." Some of the things that we DO in pursuit of the above mentioned goals are:

Character - constantly preach the cub scout motto "DO YOUR BEST", all boys help make our cub scouting program possible by participating in pack fundraisers

Physical Fitness - hiking, flag-football, volleyball, kickball, bowling

Skills - camping, fishing, cooking, tying knots, building and racing pinewood derby cars, building and racing CubMobiles, building and flying model rockets

Community Service - neighborhood cleanups, flag-raising at football games, help with Veterans' Day dinner
