❤️ 65 PINTS OF BLOOD! ❤️

What an incredible show of love, support, and community in memory of Jerry Ballas.

The 3rd Annual Jerry Ballas Memorial Blood Drive collected an amazing 65 pints of blood, surpassing last year’s total and helping provide a critical, lifesaving resource for patients and families throughout our community.

Jerry battled a rare pediatric bone cancer and required 70 blood transfusions during his treatment. His family has continued to honor his memory by giving others the same hope those donations gave Jerry. (News 12 - Default)

The Smithtown Children’s Foundation is incredibly proud to support the Ballas family and everyone who came out to roll up their sleeves, donate, volunteer, and help make this year’s drive such a tremendous success.

📺 A special thank you to News 12 Long Island for sharing Jerry’s story and highlighting the importance of blood donation, especially during a critical summer shortage.

65 pints. 65 gifts of hope. One incredible community honoring Jerry’s legacy. ❤️
