Do you have fond memories of riding your bike around the neighborhood with other kids on the block? Did you race with your siblings? Did you ever give it a second thought that you wouldn’t have had a bike growing up? Disabled children work so hard every day in school and constant therapy sessions. They get transported in strollers or are taught to use walkers. They get strapped into “standers”. Al

l of these things help increase their muscle tone, loosen hamstrings, and strengthen their trunk control. They work all day to master skills that typical kids “just do”. Did you know that the average adaptive tricycle costs $3,000.00? Recreation and movement in a child’s home and neighborhood environment is a rite of passage. Years ago private insurance companies would cover the cost of a tricycle as Durable Medical Equipment deeming it therapeutically necessary. Today, insurance companies consider it recreation rather than therapeutic and deny the claims. Some companies after a long fight and many justifications will approve it, but this is not the norm. Every child deserves the right to own and ride a bike. Share the Voice is a non-profit organization driven to provide special needs children with their own adaptive tricycle. Every penny earned goes toward the purchase of a tricycle specially ordered to meet the special needs of the child. Consider sending a personal donation, bring this to your employer and ask if they would be interested in a company donation or event sponsorship, keep checking the website to watch our donations grow. When the first child is presented their own brand new adaptive tricycle watch for tearful videos! Buying a new bike for your child for their birthday this year? 💙 Thankful Thursday 💙

Looking for a way to support Share the Voice? Every little bit truly counts.

Whether you make a donation, attend one of our fundraisers, become a sponsor, volunteer your time, or simply share our posts with your family and friends, you're helping us provide adaptive tricycles to children and adults with disabilities.

No act of kindness is too small. Every dollar donated, every event attended, every volunteer hour, and every social media share helps us get one step closer to changing someone's life.

Together, we can continue giving the gift of freedom, independence, confidence, and joy—one adaptive tricycle at a time.

Thank you for being part of the Share the Voice family. 💙

The Mirabella family's dedication to our community continues to inspire us. Last year, their incredible event supported Share the Voice by donating six adaptive bikes, which were presented to deserving children at our Annual Red Carpet Kids Gala.

Our connection with the Mirabella family goes back to 2015, when Share the Voice had the privilege of gifting Gina her adaptive bike. We've stayed in touch ever since, and it's been amazing to watch the impact their family continues to make in our community.

A huge thank you to the Mirabella family for your generosity, kindness, and unwavering support of so many local organizations. We are grateful for all that you do.

Wishing you tremendous success with this year's Tee Up FORE Gina Golf Outing this Thursday! We know it's going to be another incredible event. 💙⛳

🌧️ Rainy Monday Morning ☔💙

A little rain may keep us indoors today, but it won't dampen our spirits!

Take this rainy Monday to slow down, enjoy some extra family time, and dream about all the adventures waiting once the sun comes back out. Before long, our riders will be back on their adaptive bikes, making memories, building confidence, and enjoying the freedom of the open air.

If you have a favorite photo of your child riding their bike, we'd love to see it! Share it in the comments to brighten everyone's day and inspire our Share the Voice community.

Wishing everyone a cozy, safe, and happy Monday! 💙
