On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress established the Continental Navy, beginning a proud tradition of service, sacrifice, and defending our nation's freedom on the world's oceans.

Today, we salute the brave sailors, past and present, who have answered the call to serve. Your dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting our nation embody the very best of American service.

On behalf of Frederick Dempsey Squadron 266, Sons of The American Legion , we extend our sincere appreciation to the men and women of the United States Navy. May your proud legacy continue for generations to come!
