Pack 81 collected canned and non-perishable food for the food pantry at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Ocean Grove. Tonight they dropped off their haul. This will help assist local residents of Ocean Grove and some surrounding towns.

Pack 81 was asked to be speakers at the Shark River Hills Property Owners Association monthly meeting tonight. Our cubmaster, Mark, talked about what our scouts do throughout the year with fundraising and community service projects. The kids each had the opportunity to say what their favorite part of scouting was. They said camping, fishing, archery, but most importantly hanging out with their friends!

While there, the kids heard all about beekeeping & the process of bottling fresh honey from Jeremiah Nelson. The kids got to hold drone bees, look for the queen, explore what an at home hive looks like, and taste local wildflower honey. Very fun, yet educational 🐝🍯

Members of Pack 81 and their families spent the weekend camping at Quail Hill Scout Reservation. They enjoyed time at the archery & BB ranges, fishing and just being together.
We are very much looking forward to our next trip!

Our Bear scouts worked on robots tonight earning their Baloo the Builder elective badge!

They learned about safety around hand and power tools. Their robots came out great!!
