Neosho Professional Firefighters Local 2001

09/06/2026

Please join us in recognizing Battalion Chief Kyle Rogers for his 22 years of dedicated service to the Neosho Fire Department.

As Kyle moves on from his role with NFD, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the many years he spent serving his community, his family, and his brothers at the Neosho Fire Department.

Throughout his career, Kyle played an instrumental role in developing the next generation of firefighters, directing department-wide training, and leading B Shift. His commitment to the department and the people he served made a lasting difference in countless lives.

Kyle’s leadership, knowledge, dedication, and daily presence will be missed around the firehouse. The impact he has made over the past 22 years will continue to be felt for years to come.

We encourage the community to support Kyle’s local small business, Goodman Meat Processing, in Goodman, Missouri.

Thank you, Chief.

It has been an honor to serve alongside you.

Today, our firefighters had some very special visitors representing local congregations in the area. They prayed for the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our department and the community as a whole. We can’t express the thanks for all those that support us and take time to think and pray for our guys and their families!

Merry Christmas to all! And a special “Merry Christmas” to all those working in Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, Dispatch, and all other emergency services who are still manning their stations to respond when our community needs it!

Extrication training looks a little different when the subject is a fellow emergency service apparatus!

Thank you to the Newton County Ambulance District for allowing us to use a stripped/scrap ambulance for training. This training provided a scenario with tight spaces, abnormal interior obstacles, and reinforced structural elements that require an approach unique from our normal strategy!

Thank you to our friends at the First Lutheran Church for the Thanksgiving meals and Four States Dental Care for the cookie trays!

These thoughtful acts of kindness are always appreciated, but even more so on days like today, where we are away from our own families.

Thank you to the citizens who show us gratitude and thank you to all our brothers and sisters in emergency services who are at work today, providing for this community!
