Friends of the Nelsonville Trail Volunteers from Nelsonville, NY (and nearby environs) committed to maintaining our scenic village trail system. Managed by the Nelsonville Trail Committee.

It's been a busy season clearing trails — and we'd like to send a warm thanks to volunteers Paul Helbock, Holly Mentzer, Jim Miller, Rudy van Dommele, Ezra Clementson — who respond *instantaneously* to reports of downed trees blocking access.

We couldn't enjoy the preserve without your efforts. Thank you!

Volunteers welcome!

Volunteers welcome!

Call for Volunteers!

Thanks to resident + Trail Committee member Heidi Wendel, last week we received 200 native witch hazel seedlings for the Nelsonville Preserve. About 80 have been put in the ground already.

If individuals/families would like to help plant this weekend, please email the Village Clerk [email protected] for details.

* For safety reasons, we encourage families to work as individual units.
