Hello, everyone!!! We are planning another trip down to the cities. As soon as we have enough items we will go.

Through past deliveries, we have learned more and more about the most beneficial items to give. Obviously, shelter and food are at the top of that list. I wish we had the money to make sure every single person has a warm shelter this winter, but sadly, that is unlikely. It’s just not right that anyone is forced to attempt to survive Minnesota winters outdoors. It’s insane. How many of those people are veterans who have fought for this country? In my mind, there is absolutely no justification for this. For anyone. No one deserves to freeze to death because they don’t have enough money. Absolutely unacceptable.

So, what do we do? We give what we can. We do what we can. If it’s one pair of gloves or 30 hats, we do what we can. Please, if you can donate any of the following items, it would be greatly appreciated and go to those in need.

Our focus for this delivery will be the following:

Snacks (jerky, nuts, chips, ramen in cups, instant oatmeal, crackers, mints, foods that won’t spoil or freeze)
Gatorade
Cough drops
Socks
Gloves/mittens
Winter hats
Scarfs
Backpacks
Notebook/pens
Coloring books/crayons
Playing cards
Tampons/pads
Deodorant
Tissues
Foil emergency blankets
Gift cards (even if it’s $5 at BK)

We are hoping to plan another trip to the cities soon, but we are nearly out of supplies.

Hey, everyone! We are planning for another delivery to the cities!

We would like to do something special this time. Many of the homeless people we meet have children and ask specifically for items that they can give their kids.

Small toys
coloring books and crayons
stickers

We want to supply them with small gifts to give their children.

If you are able to help, it would be so appreciated.

Here are some items we still need:

Socks (preferably new)
Snacks (granola bars, beef jerky, nuts, cereal bars, ramen, hot chocolate, etc.)
T-shirts (only t-shirts because we don't have enough room for a lot of clothing)
Winter hat and gloves
Notebooks
Playing cards

As the weather gets colder, we are thinking more and more about our next delivery to homeless people in the cities as well as the locals around us who are in need.

Some items we could use for the next delivery:

Backpacks
Gloves/hats
Socks
Water/Gatorade
Snacks (beef jerky, nuts, granola bars)
Dry soup packets
Hot chocolate packets
Tomato sauce and chili/kidney beans (for chili)
Notebooks/pens

We will not be collecting bulkier items (blankets, coats, clothes, etc.) because we do not have the storage room or large enough transportation.
