A pleasant day at Rockfish Gliderport.

The only ship in the air was the Falke. A couple of extended flights with Irv and Rob. But we had flights in the hangar, with the Mini-Pawnee and Bobs weekend guests. Check out the pix! And those guests had a turn on the flight simulator. Cool!

Tom was there. Tom and Franks mowing looks fabulous. A visit from Matt, Bruce, Bob. And we grilled hot dogs. Yum!

A great day. Didn’t start out that way, with the predictions for heat, humidity, high density altitude, thunderstorms and zero lift. But with a bit of luck, we were able to operate, with Friends and Family rides, Introductory Member rides, instructional flights and visits from a super Super Cub and Matt’s Pietenpol. And a wonderful display of Pileus Clouds! Thanks to all who took the risk and made the effort to come out. Reynolds and his sister, Mike, Rob, Asher, Hal, Irving, Matt, Larry and Frank.
