Despite the rain yesterday, the ribbon cutting for the kayak launch on the O'Neill Creek was held.
NIC would like to thank Unity Bank for their generous donation of the launch. The launch will enable easier access to the O'Neill Creek, a natural resource we have right in town, and another opportunity for people to get out in nature. Thank you!!!

Wondering how to use this new kayak launch on the O'Neill Creek that was donated by Unity Bank? We did a test run and it worked great!! When you are going in, you push yourself backwards and then pull yourself forward on the way in.
