***New Events Alert‼️****The Fort Bend County Fair is launching NEW Junior Contests for 2026 as part of our 90th Anniversary celebration!
These opportunities are designed to help Fort Bend youth - 8 years of age to 12th grade to showcase their talents, build confidence, and develop valuable real-world skills. Open to all youth — FFA and 4H membership not required.
Entries Open: August 15, 2026
We can’t wait to see students from across Fort Bend County get involved in these inaugural events and be part of the Fair's history. Help us spread the word by sharing this post with students, parents, teachers, schools, and community organizations! More information coming soon!

This week's Featured Club is Big Creek 4-H.
"Big Creek 4-H is proud to be one of the longest running 4-H clubs in the county, carrying on a tradition of learning, leadership, service, and friendship for generations.
Our club welcomes youth of all interests and experience levels. Whether you’re passionate about showing livestock, archery, creative arts, livestock judging, or discovering a brand new project area, there’s a place for you at Big Creek 4-H.
More than just projects and competitions, our members learn responsibility, teamwork, and confidence. We believe in giving back to the community through service projects, volunteering, and supporting local events and organizations throughout the year.
At Big Creek 4-H, we’re building skills, creating lifelong friendships, and shaping future leaders all while having fun and making memories along the way.
