Today, we’re celebrating 15 years since Fertility Within Reach became incorporated—a milestone that reflects both progress and purpose.
Over the past decade and a half, our work to expand access to fertility healthcare has been driven by collaboration with patient advocates, interns, clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and partners across the country. Together, we’ve made meaningful strides in education, research, and advocacy.
We’ve developed culturally responsive educational programs reaching diverse communities, created tools for employers and policymakers, and contributed to national conversations on fertility care—including recommendations to the Domestic Policy Council on expanding access to IVF.
Our research contributions span peer-reviewed publications and participation in large-scale, patient-centered studies, ensuring that patient voices remain central to advancing care.
Through advocacy, we’ve supported the launch and advocacy of more than 10 organizations, contributed to the passage of nine state laws, developed state-specific resources for every state, commonwealth, and territory of the US, and engaged at both state and federal levels—including ongoing legislative efforts and collaboration with CMS to position infertility care as an Essential Health Benefit.
This work is only possible because of the incredible community around us. I’m deeply grateful to the partners, colleagues, and advocates who continue to move this mission forward.
As we mark 15 years, we remain focused on what’s ahead: continuing to break down barriers and expand access to fertility healthcare for all who need it.
