The New York Times rarely runs a front page editorial but the state of gun violence in this country makes it entirely appropriate. Kudos to the Times!!!

It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency.

The march yesterday in Washington was amazing....great speakers included Kathleen Turner, Marian Wright Edelman and Colin Goddard, who survived the Va. Tech despite being shot four times. There was great press coverage nationally. This is only a start---the movement continues to grow. Please spread the word--WE CANNOT FIGHT AND DEFEAT THE NRA UNLESS ALL OF US ARE UP ON OUR TOES ADVOCATING FOR SENSIBLE REFORMS TO OUR GUN LAWS.
