Whether we like it or not, Winter weather is coming...😬❄️⛈️This is a great opportunity to get some tips to Be Prepared..

September is National Preparedness Month, a great reminder that a little preparation can make a big difference when an emergency happens.

I’m partnering with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services and the New York National Guard to host a free Citizen Preparedness Training on October 15 at the Salina Community Center.

Participants will learn how to prepare for emergencies, create a family emergency plan, and build an emergency supply kit. Each family that attends will also receive a FREE preparedness kit.

Registration is required, so sign up today at www.prepare.ny.gov or scan the QR code below. 🧰⚡

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. On 09/11/2001, our nation lost 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and over 2,000 more civilians and military from the attacks on our country. Since then, we have lost survivors and those that came to help from illness related to the event.

Even now, over a generation since, we remember their sacrifice and honor their legacy.
