Breed - Chihuahua
What was your life before NDCB - I came from a home in Alabama but my owner could no longer keep me. Not sure why, I'm pretty great! I'm deaf, so maybe that is why? It doesn't seem to bother me!

Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My favorite person is my foster mom so far. I have been with a few people the last couple of weeks and have liked everyone!

Are you good with kids? not sure yet as I haven’t met a lot of them but I’m most likely fine with respectful children ages 10 plus just due to my size


Are you good with other dogs? I get along with my foster siblings okay unless we are trying to sit on the same lap at the same time. We are learning to take turns. I ignore the kitties here, they are a little scary to me. I traveled to Iowa with 2 female dogs and I did great with them.

Are you house broken? Regular trips outside here with no accidents in the house!

What is your potty routine? My foster mom keeps a close eye on me and takes me out every couple of hours.

Do you like car rides? Yes, take me with you!
Do you like walks? I think a stroll would be nice, I'm not real high energy anymore.
Do you like toys? Not really interested yet.

Do you know any commands or tricks? I dance when I want your attention!

How are your house manners? I love attention and belly rubs! I'm allowed on the furniture and I LOVE to nap. I sleep in the bed with foster mom. I am deaf but get my cues from the other dogs. I follow foster mom when she is moving around the house so I don't miss anything.

Describe your personality - I like people, get along with the dogs and cats. I'm really pretty chill and just want someone to grow older and hang out with. I like the neighbors, they even pet me through the fence ♥️.

My perfect home would be with someone who will love me and provide the luxury and pampering I deserve.

✨🐾 Please help us welcome our newest tiny passengers to rescue! 🐾✨

When our wonderful friends at New Hope Rescue found themselves absolutely buried with new intakes, we knew we had room in our hearts (and our foster homes) for two more little nuggets. ❤️

These adorable Chihuahuas are currently making the trip from Alabama and are already embracing the good life. Hotel stays? ✔️ Road trip snacks? ✔️ Being ridiculously cute? ✔️✔️✔️

🤍 Our little cream-colored princess is around 3 years old and has her spay appointment scheduled for next week. She’s sweet as can be and ready to start her next chapter.

🖤 Our handsome long-haired gentleman is a tiny senior king, estimated to be 8-10 years old. He’s proving that age is just a number when you’re this charming.

Honestly, they look like they just wandered out of a Chihuahua travel blog and are fully committed to their “tiny tourists” era. 🌎🐶

Walter is the happiest little nugget you’ll ever meet. He’s sweet, snuggly, full of personality, and absolutely loves being with his people. Whether he’s curled up in your lap or trotting around making friends, this tiny dude is just pure joy wrapped in fur.

What was your life before NDCB - I came from a home where I was a pampered boy but my owner could no longer keep me.

Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My favorite person is my foster mom so far. I do very well meeting new people in public and enjoy the attention.

Are you good with kids? Yes.
What ages? 5 and up.

Are you good with other dogs? I get along with my foster sibling fine, and the other fosters that have been here. I do like to play with other dogs that I have spent time with. There are 2 kitties here also and I don't really like them, but their food is really tempting and I've been caught on the table a couple of times sneaking some bites of it!

Are you house broken? Working on it with regular trips outside. I will sneak off to p**p on the floor if you don't keep an eye on me. I get distracted playing in the yard and forget to do my business out there.

What is your potty routine? My foster mom keeps a close eye on me and takes me out every couple of hours. I wear a belly band in the house.

Do you like car rides? Yes, take me with you! I love going to the store!

How are your house manners? I love attention and belly rubs! I'm allowed on the furniture and I love to nap. I sleep in the bed with foster mom, kennels aren't really my thing. I'm a Chihuahua, so really I'm the boss 😎 😉

Describe your personality - I love people, but am also an independent guy. I will guard the house and yard from strange people, squirrels, and stray birds. If I think the cat is too close I'll chase them away! I love sniffing around, chewing on sticks, guarding the fence line, chasing bugs, all the great doggy stuff! Living with a cat is not a good idea, but I like other dogs! If you introduce me to a new person that's coming into the home, it should be outside and we walk in the house together, that way I know you want them there and I won't bark at them while they are here.

My perfect home would be with someone who will love me no matter what and provide the luxury and pampering I deserve. I'll pay you back with kisses and snuggles! If there is another dog I can play with that's about my size, that would be great also!

I was just neutered and had a full dental (I did lose some teef) so I am ready to go!

What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? Sadly my human dad passed away and his family asked the wonderful people at NDCB to get me all medically taken care of and find my new home. I came with my fur sister Hotrod.
Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster mom and dad
Are you good with kids?What age ranges? Yes. I love all humans big and small. My foster parents have grandchildren that are 4 and 5 and I absolutely adore them.
Are you good with other dogs? Be VERY specific here. Yes I have lived with dogs of all sizes and had no problems at all.
Are you good with cats? Yes. My foster family has a cat that I get along with.
Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? I do well with going potty outside but please understand there might be an adjustment period when going to a new place while I learn a new routine
Do you like car rides? Yes Im fine in the car. But you will have to help me load up as I am a bulldog.
Do you like walks? I’m super good for very short walks. I don’t need a leash. I will follow you anywhere.
How are you on a leash? I’m good on a leash but due to being a bulldog I wouldn't recommend taking me on long walks as I can overheat very easily.
Do you like toys? I haven't shown much interest in toys. I am a giant couch potato.

I really enjoy both my foster parents. I know my name, come and kennel. I do have some food aggression. I do get along with other animals but when it comes to dinner time I will need to be fed seperate. Once I am done eating I will be ready to be back to my fur siblings if I was lucky enough to get one. I would love a forever family to call my own. I've always been a pampered, loved pet.
