Junior Golf Clinic
June 15th-18th or July 6th-9th
8 am to 10 am
Cost: $90 per child
Ages 6 to 12 – girls and boys
The clinic will cover.
Golf Etiquette…. Rules
Putting…. chipping…. pitching
Iron play and driving.
Thursday will be tournament time, with prizes and medal presentations following.
We will have extra clubs available if needed.

American Legion Post 8 and VFW Post 2634 of Nebraska City have announced activities for the week of Memorial Day.

Flags will be put up around the Otoe County Courthouse at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 21. The flags will be taken down at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 28. All volunteers are appreciated.

Cemetery flags will be put on the graves of veterans at Wyuka Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. The flags will be removed at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 30. All volunteers are appreciated.

A Memorial Day Service will be at the Wyuka Cemetery on Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at the new flagpole. A wreath dedication will be at the Nebraska City Marina following the service at Wyuka. A short program will be conducted at the War Memorial on the west side of the Otoe County Courthouse at 11:30 a.m. Residents are invited to attend one or all events in an effort to honor the service of veterans.
