🚒 Safety Camp 2026 🚒

Yesterday, we had a great time hosting our Safety Camp at the Nazareth Volunteer Fire Department for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade!

Throughout the day, the kids learned important safety lessons, including fire safety at home, what firefighters wear and why, and what to expect during an emergency. Castro County Sheriff's Office shared what deputies do to help keep our community safe, and our medics taught the kids what to do during a medical emergency.

Of course, we wrapped up the day with everyone’s favorite part—getting to spray the fire hoses! 💦

A big thank you to all of our volunteers, the Sheriff’s Office, and everyone who helped make this event a success. We hope each child left with new knowledge, great memories, and a better understanding of the people who are here to help keep our community!
