Meet the Cast of A Man of No Importance!

Say hello to Brian Craig who is playing Alfie Byrne.

Brian Craig is thrilled to reprise the role he played at Edison Valley Playhouse. Other Stone Church roles include Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Propsero in The Tempest, Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Macduff in Macbeth. Brian was seen most recently as the Sergeant of Police in NENAProductions’ staging of Pirates of Penzance and as Austin in True West at First Avenue Playhouse. He is also a freelance voiceover artist: https://brianpcraigvoice.actor. Thanks to Michael and this cast and crew. Love and gratitude to his wife, Donna!

Meet the Cast of A Man of No Importance!

Say hello to Lauren Friedman who is playing Lily Byrne.

Lauren Friedman is beyond thrilled to be playing a bucket list role in her second musical with Stone Church Players. She was previously seen as Marge in SCP’s 2022 production of The Bridges of Madison County and has also participated in a few of the staged readings here. Other select credits include Edith Frank (The Diary of Anne Frank), Eulalie Shinn (The Music Man), Deb (Elf: The Musical), and Mrs. Mayor (Seussical). Much love to Lex, Ani, Sierra, and Liam, and a huge thanks to the production staff for this dream opportunity.

Meet the Cast of A Man of No Importance!

Say hello to Colleen Gilgan who is playing Adele!

Colleen Gilgan is overjoyed to be returning to the SCP stage after almost a decade! She was most recently seen as Carla in Playhouse 22’s production of Nine. Other recent credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Nunsense (Sister Leo), Ride the Cyclone (Jane Doe), Dogfight (Rose Fenny), and Seussical (Gertrude McFuzz). When she is not on stage, Colleen is an elementary music teacher. Huge thanks to the production staff, cast, and crew for this experience and opportunity. Much love to Mom, Liam, and her true love, Justin, for their support.

Meet the Cast of A Man of No Importance!

Say hello to Randy Hurst who is playing Baldy / Carson.

As a graduate of Monmouth University with a BA in Music Education, Randy has been a Musical Director for ten years. But he loves being on the stage himself. He recently played Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde and Tom Buchanan in The Great Gatsby: A Live Radio Play. Randy is very excited to make his Stone Church debut and wants thank Michael for his casting and for the depth he reaches for within each actor. It has been a pleasure.

Say hello to John Paul Durazzo who is playing Carney.

John Paul Durazzo is thrilled to be returning to SCP after appearing in favorites such as She Loves Me (Georg Nowack), The Crucible (Reverend Hale), and the 2022 fall production of Bridges of Madison County (Bud). Other favorites include: Mike and Mindy’s Wild Weekend Jam (Pat - The Players Theatre, NYC), The Shawshank Redemption (Hadley - Villagers Theater), Into the Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man - MAC Players), and Next to Normal (Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine - Premier Theatre Company). John would like to thank his partner Rich, and his family and friends for always being his greatest supporters.

Say hello to Garrett Nolan who is playing Robbie Fay.

Garrett Nolan is very grateful to be performing for the first time with the Stone Church Players. Garrett is in his second year of college studying education at Brookdale Community College. He has performed such roles as Jesus in Godspell, Donalbain in Macbeth, and Wadsworth in Clue. He is excited to finally be in a production set in Ireland. Garrett wishes to thank his parents, friends and family, and Melody Blassenheim.

Say hello to Christine Jay who is playing Mrs. Patrick.

Christine Jay is tickled pink to be back on the SCP stage, where her last production was as Director of 2024’s She Loves Me. Favorite roles with SCP include Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, and Agnes Gooch in Mame. Christine is a professional Voice Over Artist and Video Spokesperson, and every Christmas season she is the Mrs. Claus to Michael McClellan’s Santa for her holiday entertainment company, Jersey Santa. As always, much love to C&G, the home team.
