Just about to finish this piece. It is carved from a cedar slab and has taken about 2 weeks to get to this point. We were very blessed that we found a buyer for it at last week’s Art and Wine Festival. I’m hoping to deliver it today or tomorrow.

Had a lot of folks interested in the Octopus but we were not able to do a deal today. We did find a buyer for this sea turtle piece, even though it is not yet finished. I will finish it out over the next 2 weeks and get in the hands of the generous couple who purchased it.

Just finished this piece. Carved from a walnut slab, hand painted and finished with marine varnish. Dimensions are 3ft tall and 1 foot wide. I’m calling him “Walnut” the bear cub and am hoping to rehome him soon. I am asking for a $250 donation to the Susan G Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. Three of my latest pieces. The hummingbird was more of a challenge than I expected. Lots of detail, especially working everything around the trellis background. The eagle is carved from a piece of wood that I really had no idea what to do with. It really wasn’t big enough for other projects that I had in mind. I saw a similar item on display in a local shop and thought I’d take a chance. Turned out even better than I had hoped. The last piece I’m am calling “low maintenance aquarium”. This is the third piece I have carved with this aquarium theme. All of them are carved from cedar slabs. I haven’t found anything else that compares.
