🦋💕 9 to 5 Kindness is coming to Nauvoo on 9/25!

Dolly Parton has spent decades showing that kindness can make a difference—and her incredible commitment to literacy has helped put books into the hands of children around the world. On 9/25, we’re celebrating a little of that Dolly spirit right here in Nauvoo!

Keep an eye out for our Kindness Butterflies around town. If one lands on you, do a random act of kindness and then pass the butterfly along. Let’s see how much kindness we can spread from 9 to 5!🦋

And in honor of Dolly’s love of books and literacy, we’re encouraging $9.25 donations to the Nauvoo Public Library. Look for donation jars around town and help support the books, programs, resources, and opportunities our library provides to our community.

No act of kindness is too small—and neither is a donation. 💗

Let’s keep Dolly’s spirit of kindness, generosity, and literacy going right here in Nauvoo.

Stop by the Nauvoo Public Library by 4pm today (Friday, August 7th) to build your very own stuffed animal.
Summer Reading participants will get priority for our free spots on a first come, first served basis.
We can’t wait to see you!

LAST CALL!
Friday, August 7th, is our end of Summer Reading Grand Finale. The Teddy Bear Mobile will be here from 11am-4pm and we will be doing our prize drawings! Make sure ALL completed bookmarks are turned in before Friday so you can be entered in these grandprize drawings.
We can't wait to see everyone Friday!

JUST A REMINDER: We only have 2 WEEKS of our Summer Reading Program left. If you have been reading make sure to get all your bookmarks turned in before the 1st of Aug. You have to turn in ALL 9 BOOKMARKS to be eligible for the grand prize drawings. The drawings for all the prizes will be held in the first or second week of August.
