Thank you to everyone who came out to vote and helped pass our community referendum!

In an overwhelming victory, Naugatuck residents voted YES ✅ to investing in vital improvements, including upgraded communication systems, road repairs and repaving, and updates to Naugatuck Public Schools. Most importantly to us, this also marks the first major step toward a new animal control facility, creating a safer and more supportive space for animals in need. ❤️🐾

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Stay tuned for updates and next steps as we continue making progress together!

Diesel needs our help 💔

At 185 lbs, this sweet boy requires specialized surgery, a toe amputation, removal of a possibly cancerous mass, and neutering. Because of his size, his care is more complex and costly.

He already has a forever home waiting, his foster family is ready to adopt him once he’s healthy. Now we just need to get him there.

These sweet boys are feeling your love and sending thanks from their new home at Howling Woods Farm! 🐾

After being abandoned and facing an uncertain future, these two wolfdog pups are now safe in a sanctuary where they’re getting the specialized care they need—and it’s all thanks to the incredible support from the resources found in our communities.

Wolfdogs are not typical pets, and most importantly, are illegal to own in the state of Connecticut. Their situation is a heartbreaking reminder of how important responsible pet ownership is. We are so grateful these two were given a second chance.

‼️ Naugatuck Referendum Vote ‼️
The Borough of Naugatuck will vote on a proposed $25M investment in community improvements.

What’s included:

✔️ Road paving & repairs
✔️ Public safety upgrades (radio tower + equipment)
✔️ School, park & senior center improvements
✔️ Bridge & stormwater infrastructure work
✔️ Land acquisition for future needs
✔️ Initial funding for a new animal control facility

This plan addresses critical needs now to help avoid more costly repairs later.
