A lot of people come to Toastmasters with a fear of public speaking. We'll help you deal with that fear. To get started, you can come as a guest and benefit just by observing the meeting, and you can pass on speaking if you're not ready. As you watch other members and practice speaking in front of your new Toastmaster friends, you'll gain skill and confidence in speaking. But Toastmasters is about

more than just public speaking, it's also about creating leaders, and by participating in the meetings, you'll gain and hone valuable leadership skills. Brass City Toastmasters is open to everyone, and anyone can benefit from attending the meetings. Brass City Toastmasters meets from 6 p.m. every second and fourth Monday of the month, in the Silas Bronson Library conference room in Waterbury, CT.
