MACKINAC OTTAWA AND CHIPPEWA INDIANS OF (MICHILIMACKINAC) BANDS (TRIBE) CURRENT COURT RULING INVOLVING A FISHING CASE OF A MACKINAC TRIBE DESCENDANT AND THE STATE OF MICHIGAN

The Court did find that the Defendant's J. Caswell & Barry Adams did establish by a preponderance of evidence that he (Mr. Adams) is a part of a group of people of Indian ancestry connected to the signatory of a tribe of the 1836 Treaty.

UREGENT: The Judge mentioned the other Mackinac Tribe Members were not identified therefore we are seeking to UPDATE OUR MACKINAC OTTAWA AND CHIPPEWA INDIANS (MEMBERS)
Please send me a message providing your current information so we can begin to compile a current census of each Mackinac Bands Members within each county that your band resides in. Example Band 17 Hubbard Lake, Bands 15, 16 Point of St. Ignace, Band 16 is Point of Aux Chenes and so on....

The court did find the Defendant's have met their burden of proof establishing their part of a group of people of Indian ancestry, they do descend from a treaty signatory tribe, and that tribe has maintained an organized tribal structure.

THEREFORE TO ALL MACKINAC OTTAWA AND CHIPPEWA INDIANS, LETS PULL OUR BANDS (UNIT AREAS) TOGETHER, EACH BAND IDENTIFY YOUR PEOPLE TO BE SPOKESPERSON'S within your own community be representative's for members organizing your tribal structure according to your community and member's benefit.

Each Bands community are unique and operate within their own communities but we are of the same, no matter what your lineage traces to, we are still the same people of Indian ancestry, we are the
MACKINAC OTTAWA AND CHIPPEWA INDIANS.

Message me with your current information relative to enrollment. Message me as each Band has Representative's in place to act as Spokesperson's for your Band (Members) (Unit Areas).

With technology, we can schedule zoom meetings or whatnot so all can participate from each (Unit Area) moving forward to operate as organized tribal structure's.
