The Vision Plan is complete! Now for the real work!

We are incredibly grateful to every single person that contributed theirs thoughts, time, expertise, supplies, beef and pie to this process. It has been a community led event and we are so proud of this community!

West End, we did it! 🎉 The WE Vision Plan has officially been unanimously adopted by all five West End governments: the Towns of Nucla, Naturita, and Norwood, plus Montrose County and San Miguel County. Adoption is the formal step that makes the Plan an official guiding document, meaning local leaders have agreed to use this community-built vision as a shared reference for priorities, coordination, and funding. It is not a mandate, but it is a powerful commitment to honor the vision you shared.

Now it is time to follow through, to carry forward the values, goals, and strategies shaped by our community. So consider this your call to action! Read the plan, share it, show up, join a committee, collaborate, and help turn this vision into real progress on the ground!

The Vision Project is concluding, but the vision itself will live on. We could not be more grateful for the spirit, compassion, dedication, and resilience you all brought to this work. Without you, this shared commitment to build a better future would not exist.

-WE Vision Team signing off for now 💚
