There will be a Memorial Day chicken BBQ at our station on Saturday May 23rd . Chicken will start selling at 11 AM . Pre orders will be available this evening at our Sounds of Summer Concert . Everyone knows our BBQ sells FAST ! Get yours early !!

With EMS week 2026 starting today , we would like to thank some of our mutual aid companies for always being there when we need you . Carthage Area Rescue Squad , Lewis County Search and Rescue , Governeur Rescue , Guilfoyle, Fort Drum , Evans Mills , and so so many more . THANK YOU to our providers for always going above and beyond each and every day ! Together , we can make a difference !

The Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that we will be hosting Sounds of Summer first concert at our station . The concert will be May 21st from 6 PM to 8 PM and will be featuring Gridlock . This is a free concert for all the enjoy . Bring your lawn chairs and dancing shoes ..... There will be refreshments ( hamburgers , hot dogs , french fries , all types of soda ) available for purchase . We would love to see you all there !

Sadly , the outcome of these devastating fires is never good . However , the kind words make them a little easier to bear ! We want to thank all of our members who showed up to assist with this fire . The red cross has been called to help assist the families involved , but they will need to start fresh . Reminder to all our community members NYS burn ban goes in to affect today ! When we get dispatched for an outdoor fire , the DEC is automatically dispatched along side of us . If you are caught burning when you should not be , they will issue you tickets . Please just don't burn until it's over .

This morning Natural Bridge Fire and Ambulance were called for a water rescue with an animal through the ice . Natural Bridge responded with an engine and Ambulance . Carthage and Deferiet were both dispatched automatic mutual aid . Upon arrival , crews worked rapidly to attempt to locate the animal which was now identified as a German Shepard . Fort Drum Fire was called for their water rescue equipment . Carthage deployed 3 water rescue members to attempt to locate the dog . The animal was located and members worked hard to free the dog from the water . Natural Bridge Ambulance took control of the dog and began passively warming the animal. Natural Bridge Ambulance transported the animal to Countryside Vet Clinic where care was turned over to the vet . We are happy to say that after approximately 1 and a half hours of being under the ice , the animal is doing well . GREAT job by all involved ! We wish to thank ALL members who responded and ALL of our mutual aid . Sometimes our job moves past the human aspect and animals need rescuing too .
