Capitol Clash is back for 2023!

The National Fencing Foundation is proud to be the host of one of the largest annual fencing tournaments in the world as our 12th annual tournament. The Capitol Clash tournament takes place at its usual venue, the Ga***rd National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, with Absolute Fencing Gear contributing its 53 fencing strips to the success of the tournament.

Admission for spectators is free. Fence and visit our nation’s capitol, all in one 3-day weekend!

To our Capitol Clash fencers nationwide:

After consulting with both USA Fencing and our facilities, we have made the difficult decision not to hold the 11th Capitol Clash in 2021. The health and safety of our children, parents, directors, coaches and staff is just too important. Furthermore the Ga***rd, our event location, is currently closed and does not have a firm reopen date planned. You are and will always be our primary concern.

We look forward to seeing you again at the next Capitol Clash. Stay healthy and keep practicing.
