What is the School Council?
The School Council is a representative, school-based committee made up of the principal, parents, teachers, and a community member. Massachusetts law requires School Councils to provide feedback on the school budget and school improvement plan, and to work on developing and revising the school’s mission and vision statements.
The principal organizes the School Council, and the PTO will coordinate the parent election process.
Meeting schedule:
Wednesdays, 7:45–8:30 AM
September 23 • October 21 • December 16 • January 20 • February 10 • March 24 • May 19
There are 7 meetings total (no meetings in November, April, or June).
