🧵 Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Quilting Workshop at Boston City Hall this past April!

During this special event—and throughout our guild gatherings—we hand-stitched quilt blocks using fabric generously donated by the family of Betty J. Clark, a lifelong quilter whose legacy lives on through our stitches.

🧶 The finished quilts—a large one and a baby quilt—reflect stories of life in Boston.

Today, we had the joy of delivering them to Rosie’s Place, the nation’s first women’s shelter and a vital multi-service community center offering emergency shelter, meals, and so much more.

💛 We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed their time, creativity, and care to this meaningful project.

Feeling inspired? Visit www.rosiesplace.org to view their current wish list and see how you can support their mission.

🎉We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve won the New England Quilt Museum’s 2025 Summer Celebration of New England Quilts! 🏆

A huge thank you to the New England Quilt Museum for hosting this year’s Summer Celebration—a wonderful (and free!) event that showcases the incredible work of local quilting guilds.

We’re proud to share our guild’s featured submission: Childless Cat Lady by Joyce Husseini, quilted by Amy Kidd.

This stunning quilt is not only visually striking—it’s also sustainably made from upcycled materials like denim and upholstery fabric.

🏆 The guild whose quilt receives the most votes will earn the opportunity to host a special exhibit of its members’ work. What a fantastic way for the museum to support and celebrate local artists!

🗓️ The Summer Celebration runs through September 6, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to visit and cast your vote!

🎨 While you’re there, be sure to check out the powerful exhibit Unfolding Years by Pat Pauly and the dynamic textile art of Marianne R. Williamson in Light and Movement—both are truly inspiring.
