Happy to all those who have served! Special shout outs to Officers Payton, Moran, Rodriguez, Arroyo, Gould, Wade, Butler, and O'Shaughnessy, and Detectives Nguyen and Brogan, who have all served either on active duty or in the reserves. Earlier today, members of the department participated in the annual parade, taking them on a journey through the downtown area. Officers Butler, Kane, and Ramstrom led the way on the motorcycles, while Officers Dwyer, Kennedy, Detective Melnik, and Lieutenant Howard took up the Honor Guard mantle, led by Chief Hicks.βThis nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.β
