Youth in Philanthropy at Foundation for MetroWest

Youth in Philanthropy at Foundation for MetroWest We believe that if you teach youth to give, you empower them to change the world.

The Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) program was launched by the Foundation for MetroWest in 1997, and has grown to become the largest and oldest youth philanthropy education programs in the country. Through a unique experiential approach, YIP empowers local youth with the philanthropic acumen needed to become leaders that make a positive impact where they live. YIP goes beyond volunteering to educate

youth on the real work of local nonprofits, the needs present in their communities and what it takes to give back effectively.
