Brothers Keepers MC Natchitoches A non-profit Motorcycle Club whose membership is comprised of Firefighters. The Mission of BKMC 17th is twofold;

In July of 2012, BKMC Chapter 17 was chartered and the foundation was laid of what would become a dynamic and dedicated group of men and women who share a commitment to the Fire Service and a love of motorcycle riding. Centrally located in Natchitoches, Louisiana (the oldest town in the Louisiana Purchase), our Club is comprised of both Professional and Volunteer Firefighters, representing many of

the surrounding rural and urban Fire Protection Districts and Departments. To provide fundraising efforts benefiting a local non-profit organization chosen each year.

2. To provide a unique social outlet for members of the Fire Service in the surrounding areas who share a passion for riding motorcycles and the camaraderie of the open road. BKMC 17 encourages all Fire Service members, career, volunteer, active or retired, who enjoy riding their motorcycle to contact the closest BKMC chapter for more information on how to join this international organization. Patriot Guard Pony Express Mission to es**rt a service member as he is being transferred from Florida to California.

LeCompte, LA to Mansfield, LA, then on to the Texas State Line.

About the Mission:
The family of PVT Robert “Bob” Wilson, 83, has requested the PGR provide a dignified transfer of their loved one from Florida to California, where he will be laid to final rest. PVT Wilson faithfully served our Country in the U.S. Army while performing duties as an Infantryman and was awarded a Sharpshooter Ribbon.

Stage 4 Details:

September 23, 2025 — 12:00 PM
Chevron Station
LA Highway 112 and I-49
Lecompte, LA 71346

Instructions:
Approximately 12:00 pm – Arrive at Chevron Station for Gas and a Lunch
1:00 pm – KSU for next stop

Large Bike Flags will not be needed. Water will be provided.

Stage 5 Details:

September 23, 3035 — 2:30 PM
Love’s Travel Stop
1940 US 84
Mansfield, LA 71502

Instructions:
Approximately 2:30 pm – Arrive at Love’s Truck Stop for Gas.
3:00 pm – KSU for next stop

We will continue on I-20 and West to the Exxon Service Center, 510 N I-20 Spur, Waskom, Texas, (Exit 635) approximately 45 minutes, where we will transfer our hero to the Texas members.

Large Bike Flags will not be needed. Water will be provided.

The 2025 CENLA BURN RUN and Ride has been cancelled due to hostile weather forecasts. We regret that we will not be able to host our Annual Fundraiser this coming weekend, April 5, 2025, but our concerns are for the safety of all who had planned to ride to our Burn Run, and the expected weather conditions which would compromise safe travels home.

BKMC 17 is appreciative of all the support our riding friends and local communities always show, and plan to provide a Plate Lunch event at a later date.

Members from the Natchitoches and Pineville chapters rolled into Zwolle to support the Noble Sons Annual Music Fest fundraiser.
Tamales were eaten, music enjoyed and Team Shaky and Stretch participated in the Co****le Tournament.

Had a great time in Minden today learning about the BCA cooking contest. BCA is the Barbecue Competitors Alliance.
