The Chamber team was proud to attend Rally the Region, hosted by Louisiana Central, yesterday alongside education leaders, workforce professionals, and economic development organizations from across Central Louisiana.

The event focused on workforce development, economic growth, and preparing future generations for success in an evolving workforce landscape. Discussions throughout the day highlighted the importance of collaboration between education, business, and community leadership to strengthen opportunities across our region.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of these important conversations and look forward to continuing efforts that support workforce and economic development in Natchitoches Parish and beyond.

Chamber Ambassadors met today for their May monthly meeting to review upcoming volunteer opportunities and stay up to date on events happening across the community.

While today’s turnout was a little smaller due to NSU graduation celebrations happening across the area, we appreciate everyone who joined us and look forward to seeing the full group back together next month. Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates!

The NCLA Reentry Coalition will host the Second Chance Job Fair on Tuesday, June 2nd from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the Natchitoches Probation and Parole Office. This free event is designed to connect those reentering the workforce with local employment opportunities and workforce resources.

Events like these play an important role in supporting workforce development, reducing barriers to employment, and creating opportunities for individuals working toward a fresh start. Community support and employer participation help strengthen pathways to long-term success and stability.
